A pooja room kolam for Janmashtami to invite the little Krishna into our homes. This kolam is called Krishna’s cradle. A square is drawn with four lines and connected at ends by locking into triangular shapes. The end lines on the sides form the innermost triangle of the knots. With padam at the centre and Shri on the sides, this kolam turns out to be auspicious and should be drawn only in the pooja room or Tulsi Vrindavan. Draw this kolam do your pooja by adding turmeric and vermilion, later offering Neivedhiyam to the Lord.
