“‘ ” Akin to the previous kolam, this kolam is drawn for Janmashtami. This is drawn at the threshold to invite the little one to grace the home with his presence. A 6×6 dotted grid with 2×2 and 1 on sides, the dots get connected with lines and curves miniaturised for a cradle look. The kolam gets its look from a four-legged cradle from a top view. Drawing Krishna’s feet at the centre of the kolam is a belief that the Bala Krishna starts his journey into the home stepping on the kolam to look for his delicious snacks in the pooja room. Happy Janmashtami and may the Little One bless youa nd your family with all the abundance of happiness in your life.
