Collection of 8 dots sikku kolam. This post has three sikku kolams enhanced with extensions. These simple kolams get tagged into daily kolams as these kolams are easy to draw and takes less time to draw if you you have time constraint.
Kolam No.1
1.The dot pattern is given below. 8 dots are placed in two columns which form the centre of the kolam. Then keep decreasing by one dot on either side till the dot count reaches to 2.
2. A single line kolam. This design can be extended to a bigger version.

Kolam No.2
1. The dot pictorial illustration is given in the belwo link.8 dots are placed in the centre column, decreased to two on either side.
2. Two line kolam and has a mirror symmetry. Just form the lower part strand and the upper part is just the reflection of the lower part. Easy and simple to draw.
Kolam No.3
1.The dot pattern is given below. 8 dots are placed in two columns which form the centre of the kolam. Then keep decreasing by one dot on either side till the dot count reaches to 2.
2. This is a two line kolam. Two strands run in between the dots creating the dots. A basic square shaped elements are formed.
