A causally drawn freestyle kolam. If its a freestyle, I usually start with a flower design in the centre and extend with extra designs. This kolam has 12 petal flower at the centre with extra petals around and leaves on the outer layer for a finishing touch.
I have used chalkpiece as the medium to draw on the floor without any colours added, I felt this looked fine without colours, Do you agree 🙂
