These kolams were done by one of my cousins who is interested in freehand types. I like to watch her drawing the kolams and interesting too. Her hand moves swiftly in a constant rhythm from the kolapodi container to the floor while the powder slips through her fingers without any hassles. She seldom draws a bigger version except on auspicious days. Her double strokes have well defined space in between which I admire a lot 🙂
