I draw kolams with kola podi when I’m in India, that too in thick strokes, as I needn’t worry about the stock. I have requested [ordered 😀 ] my mom to buy fresh colour podi as a small preparation for my next visit.
Its a common sight in my home town to see vendors selling colour powders in mini van(chinna yaanai-name courtesy TATA) during this month of Margazhi, month of colours – my personal opinion 🙂
This is 13 a dot kolam with a count of 13-11×2-9-7-5-1, added border with orange colour and sikku strand at the entrance for enhancement.
