I have opened the fresh stock of colour rangoli powder from my bag. The blue was scintillating and tempting me to use the shades. I have used three shades of blue in this chikku kolam plus a lemon yellow for a contrast effect.
I am always much comfortable in sikku genre and I love to draw them even if it has a single strand running throughout the whole kolam. I feel drawing sikku kolam is easy rather than a line kolam.. A simple 15 dots from my Mother’s note book and tried my hand to beautify it. Though I haven’t added much additions, but personally felt the blue did the magic..

The dot pattern.. 15 dots and descending till 1 on either sides.
I thought to take photos after finishing each strand. But somehow forgot as I was much engrossed into the kolam :-D. I managed to take a photo at this stage.
