MY DOODLE 😊
My ardour for convolution of lines innervates me to create a labyrinth configuration, most think it’s a cat’s cradle yet an easy-peasy conformation of lines. .
Drawing common sikku kolams didn’t buoy up me and I wanted to explore the intricacies of the twining lines. To start the journey, I placed 5 dots sikku kolam as starter on corners and aggrandized with extra strands. The delectation of the outcome made me to press on with creating new #sikku patterns. .
The creation process wends as
“The first step starts with the line maundering around the dots waiting for the stop to conclude its jaunt. The lines do miscalculate the turns and needs erasure to continue its outing. The eraser vivaciously bobbing up and down to spick-and-span the area for the pencil to complete its peregrination. After many effaces of the lines, finally the twists and turns come to a halt for a new creation”
This 27 #dots sikku kolam too went through and through of the above procedure to get accomplished with a new pattern. .
I drew this kolam twice, at my parents home and parents-in-laws home. The first #kolam got encapsulated with a sikku strand and birdies, which I pilfered from a good friend of mine who sternly warned me not to copy her signature pattern…. 🤣🤣 .
The second kolam was done hotfooted eventually with an unsated outcome 🙃
The third image is the notebook page where the kolam figured up to its final shape and the paper displaying the prance of the eraser. 😁
