The 10th entry in this Margazhi collection. This is a 25 dots kolam. Somehow I missed the dot count and placed extra 3 dots and without my knowledge I proceeded to build up this kolam. I realised the blunder while recreating the design on floor. I placed 23 dots and started to draw the design, when half finished , there was an issue regarding the sharing of dots, the X axis strand was in a tiff with the Y axis strand 😀

This kolam has a 5 dots as the base design where the kolam has been built on. While creating this kolam I drew the base sikku on four sides and replicated the same design on the top just beneath to the centre dot of the kolam and duplicated the same on other sides too. Now the next task was to fill up the dots between the base design. Formed two boxes to form a tangled design and filled with loops to finish the design.
And coloured with Yellow and Red, the Traditional colour combination.I enjoyed to draw sikku kolams as always. I don’t participate in office’s kolam drawing task as everyone plan for a colour kolam that too a dotted line kolam which I don’t prefer much inturn I become a spectator. That’s also an interesting task for me as I love to observe people :-D, that’s a part of my life 😀
