Lamps/ vilakku should be placed on kolams ONLY during Karthigai Month and if you are drawing this kolam don’t place the vilakkus on the lamp.
As placing of lamps on vilakku has an unique religious reason and advised not to place the vilakkus on kolams for ornamental purpose.
